In December 2016 Rachel went back to work at her local theatre Buxton Opera House. This time as the Lighting Designer for the Theatres yearly pantomime produced by Channel Theatre. Rachels return was covered by local paper the Buxton Advertiser. It was hailed as a ‘sparkling production’ by artsbeatblog
